Uta began her career as a geologist, before discovering jewellery and sculpture.
She carefully sources river pebbles and stones from Europe, together with freshwater pearls. Silicon and nylon mesh provide a tactile juxtaposition to the organic materials.
Her work is influenced by the landscape, our interaction with our natural environment and the beauty of the raw materials.
